Kenai defense attorney Josh Cooley on incarceration and rehabilitation in prison:
I think there are some programs in the state of Alaska that are helpful for drugs and alcohol in the jails. I don't think that many of the other rehabilitative programs outweigh the negatives. Prison is a great place to go and meet people who have a lot of criminal experience and are happy to share that criminal experience.
